Filmadžije u Criterion-ovoj ostavi sa blue-ray i DVD filmovima

 

The Criterion Collection, Inc. je američka kompanija za kućnu distribuciju videa, a njena delatnost obuhvata licenciranje, restauraciju i distribuciju, tj. prodaju značajnih klasičnih i savremenih filmova. Dakle, zahvaljujući njima u situaciji smo da gledamo osvedočena remek-dela, ali i skrajnuta vrhunska ostvarenja iz istorije filma u dostojnom obliku, sa besprekornom slikom i zvukom. U okviru svoje reklamne kampanje Criterion je pozvao u goste poznate i priznate reditelje, glumce i druge javne ličnosti povezane na neki način sa sedmom umetnošću da učestvuju u akciji „Criterion closet picks”. Naime, oni su uvedeni u bogatu filmsku ostavu The Criterion Collection-a sa većom kesom koju sebi treba da napune omiljenim filmovima na blue-ray i DVD nosačima. Za ovaj prednovogodišnji blog-post izdvojio sam dvadesetak klipova sa Youtube-a u kojima neki od reditelja i glumaca koje posebno volim biraju svoje favorite. Caka je u tome što su oni tu prvi put i ne znaju šta ih čeka. Letimičnim pogledom preleću preko naslova izloženih na policama i u trenutku moraju da se odluče šta će da stave u kesu. Stoga, ovo nije njihov izbor najbolji filmova, već onoga što im je namah dostupno i što im trenutno privlači pažnju. To znači da tu dejstvuje u znatnoj meri i njihov instinkt, intuicija i krajnje subjektivni razlozi. U svakom slučaju, imamo priliku da vidimo šta i kako biraju velikani filma uz njihove usputne komentare, a nekad i prave male kritike izabranih filmskih dela.

Za početak vas u Criterion arhivu uvodim sa Slavojem Žižekom, koji će pored komentara svog izbora filmova da da i kraće objašnjenje kriterijuma po kojim „Kriterijumova kolekcija” pravi svoj odabir. Zatim slede režiseri i po koji glumac i njihov izbor. Pred svaki video-klip ispisao sam naslove koje je dotični filmadžija izabrao, ali obavezno pogledajte i snimke sa Youtube-a kako bi saznali i nešto više o kaparisanim filmovima iz usta samih izbirača. Nadam se da ćete među svim ovim navedenim naslovima naći i nešto što do sad niste gledali ili ste željni da to, kao već odgledano, reprizirate. Taman da se uz prvoklasne filmove korisno popune predstojeći slobodni dani tokom praznika.
